Family Adventures in Hampshire

Have fun on the ‘The Biggest Garden Explorer’ at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. Spot the biggest and best. Look out for different textures, colours and shapes. Shows in Hampshire this March

Crown and Coronation immersive light and sound show comes to Winchester Cathedral 4th-8th March. Be enveloped in scenes of iconic monarchs; witness breathtaking coronation ceremonies and see the Crown Jewels in exquisite detail. Historic Royal Palaces have partnered with Luxmuralis Artist Collaboration to create an immersive sound and light show for all ages to enjoy – from tiny tots who enjoy the sensory experience, to grandparents who enjoy sharing facts about Kings and Queens with their grandchildren. Houdini’s Greatest Escape at New Theatre Royal Portsmouth on 15th March is a hilarious and magnificent show that will have you gasping at the magic of theatre and the illusions. On the cusp of a career-defining performance for King Edward, Harry Houdini finds himself framed for murder…can he escape and clear his name?

From comedy gags with Guz Khan (1 March) and Andy Parsons (6 March) to entertaining the kids with Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and The Showstoppers’ Kids Show which creates fun for all the family! MAST Mayflower Studios also present their Shout Season, which amplifies stories and introduces new theatre in its early stages (14 March – 22 April).

Head to Theatre Royal Winchester this March. Zog and the Flying Doctors, an adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s beloved story about Zog featuring colourful characters and music, visits 8th -10th.

Science Museum: The Live Stage Show on 17th is a brand-new unmissable show by London’s world-renowned museum aimed at inspiring the whole family in new and exciting ways as they learn something new! Or on 23rd and 24th March you can see The Gruffalo’s Child.
