We are delighted to see that many of our indoor attractions will be able to reopen from 17th May and it’s not that far away now! They have lots of exciting things planned ready to reopen their doors and they can’t wait to welcome you back! Keep reading to plan some top days out this May with Hampshire’s Top Attractions!

Exciting news… From 17th May, Beaulieu’s indoor attractions will reopen to visitors and we can’t wait! From the world-famous National Motor Museum to Palace House, the ancestral home of the Montagu family, and more, Beaulieu really does have something for everyone to enjoy! A fun-filled family day out for sure, which will you visit first?

Join Thomas & Friends for a day of family fun at The Watercress Line (29th May – 6th June). Take a train ride with Thomas, meet The Fat Controller and NEW for 2021 enjoy a Live Show with Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty & Dusty and other familiar characters. If you have missed a day out at the funfair as much as we have you’ll be ecstatic to hear that Clarence pier funfair rides will reopen from 12th April! Better yet, there will be two new thrill rides the Super Trooper and music trip, to save ££s and avoid queues by booking online!

Based at the heart of Southampton, SeaCity Museum tells the story of the people of the city, their fascinating lives and historic connections with Titanic and the sea. Discover how they bring maritime history to life through an interactive experience designed for all ages. They plan to reopen their doors again on 17 May, and will we have a whole range of activities in the museum to keep the kids entertained over the May half-term, which you’ll be able to book online!

One for a friend’s day out or a fun date… The Bombay Sapphire Distillery Visitor Experience plans to reopen on Monday 17th May 2021. The tours, shop, café, and bar will be open once again for you to enjoy while continuing to keep safety as the number one priority – visit the website to see the protocols in place and to book. Visit and take a tour around the distillery, taste some top-class gin, and enjoy a cocktail-making class!

At Butser Ancient Farm step back into the past and meet re-enactors with socially distanced displays of ancient life on selected days and times. The Archaeological Farm will also be beginning a new Bronze Age roundhouse construction project and you can see the build in progress!

Did you know that May 26th is World Otter Day? There are 4 species of otters at the amazing New Forest Wildlife Park and they’re up ready to ensure you enjoy your time at the park.  The Asian Smoothcoat Otters and the magnificent Giant Otter will be demonstrating their skills in their new enclosures! A perfect day out for the family!
