It’s been a crazy few months and we are all still adjusting to a new way of life and those restrictions that are still in place, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make this summer great! It’s time to put those tools down…be it work, school, chores…let’s have a well-deserved summer of fun!

For many attractions you will need to book online prior to your visit, so plan ahead, book early, and enjoy great days out in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight this August…

Visit Paultons Park this August and enjoy over 70 rides and attractions all included in the admission price! Enjoy a staycation flight on Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter or take in the wonderful views of Peppa Pig World on Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride. Pre-booking on all visits is essential.

The Emirates Spinnaker Tower offers a much needed change of scene this summer, with breath-taking 350 degree views across Portsmouth and the South Coast.  Visitors can also enjoy the thrill of the glass Sky Walk and a relaxing meal in the Waterfront Café.

Treat your family to a fun day out at the Watercress Line: ride on a steam train, picnic in the south-facing picnic area, visit the footbridge used in Harry Potter films and get up close to the locomotives in the yard. Children under 5 years go FREE (standard travel only).

The Isle of Wight is the ‘Good To Go’ destination this summer! With wide open beaches, historic attractions to visit, fun places for the whole family to enjoy – now is the ideal time to get on a boat, cross the water and rediscover the Isle of Wight!

The Eling Tide Mill Experience is open, things are slightly different but as much as possible is still available to visitors. Visitors can see all the machinery (although it will not be working during opening times) but can be watched on our videos, along with some other short informative videos.

Enjoy a full schedule of daily activities at Longdown Activity Farm from bottle-feeding kid goats and calves to meeting lots of friendly farm animals in the Animal Encounter Barn. Plenty of play areas plus the brilliant bumpy tractor ride (ground conditions permitting). The farm is fully compliant with Covid-19 safety regulations. Visitors need to pre-book their tickets on the Longdown Activity Farm website (no entry without pre-booking).

It’s where owls, falcons, eagles and vultures fly – the Hawk Conservancy Trust is a magical place. With three world-class flying displays and all NEW Top Trumps activity trail, it’s a great family day out. There’s plenty of open space and kids can run about in the fresh air, see our stunning birds of prey and connect with nature. Pre-booking essential.
