Peut-être Theatre present Half term treat Tidy Up at Nuffield Southampton Theatres

October 16, 2018

Following the success of their production of Shh…Bang, Peut-être Theatre presents half term treat, Tidy Up, for children aged 3+ at Nuffield Southampton Theatres Campus, 25 – 27 October.

This dance theatre show was developed in partnership with GOSH Arts, children, families and the Psychological Services Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Inspired by children’s logic to create order, patterns and systems, Tidy Up is a witty, uplifting journey exploring whether chaos and order can live side by side, showing that tidiness can be exciting for children and chaos joyful for adults.

Told through original music, vibrant visuals, dance, movement and audience involvement, this non-verbal show is an unforgettable party for half term with plenty of surprises for children and adults alike.

Daphna Attias, Artistic Director of Peut-être has said: “I wanted to find a way to question if tidying up could be fun for children and if chaos could be fun for parents… We hope to knock down the preconceptions of right and wrong and trace what actually dictates our sense of order. We will challenge audiences to identify and question their own tidy-up habits and investigate children’s ‘right or wrong’ order.”

There will also be FREE family fun with drop-in arts and crafts activities before and after the show at NST Campus on 26 and 27 October.

Tickets are available from the Box Office 023 8067 1771 or online at nstheatres.co.uk.
