Watersports season starts in Spring, so make the most of the spring weather by heading out on the Lagoon at Calshot Activities Centre. With access to both sheltered and more challenging water, Calshot is the perfect place to set sail no matter your experience.

It’s your last chance to visit the current exhibitions at Jane Austen’s House: ‘The Making of Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Satire and Scandal’, guest curated by historian and social media sensation, Alice Loxton (@historyalice), before two brand new exhibitions open in April. Your ticket lasts for a year, so why not pop back and see them all!

At the Hawk Conservancy Trust, Masters of the Sky returns – it’s their biggest daily display ever! Explore beautiful new aviaries styled as English cottages, and you may be lucky enough to see the newest team member, Willow the Barn Owl, make her debut appearances in the Woodland Owls flying display! 

There will be musical magic at the Army Flying Museum this spring. Enjoy the Beatles Candlelight Experience with Lumos Live on Saturday 9th March and on Saturday 30th March Salisbury Big Band will be joined by vocalist, Jayne Deer for a musical odyssey which will resonate with every listener.

Embrace new activities this Spring with Cyclexperience. Take bikes from the centre in Brockenhurst and journey straight into the forest to find New Forest foals grazing wild amongst the herd. The forest is rich in colour and fragrant with wild flowers blooming alongside the cycle tracks.

Portsmouth Comic Con, the largest family-friendly Comic Con of its kind returns to Portsmouth Guildhall, Sat 11th – Sun 12th May 2024 to bring you the best in comic, film, TV and pop culture entertainment with special features for 2024 including a Strangely, Marvellous, Wizarding Walk-Through, Jurassic and Star Wars Experiences and a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Ghostbusters! 

Join New Theatre Royal for a full programme of events this Spring. There’s an exciting mixture of family events, film, music acts, respected comedians, circus-style dance and a variety of plays on offer. Not forgetting of course the monthly Minghella Meet-ups – Cllr Steve Pitt will be our special guest at April’s meetup on Tuesday 9th.

Visit Hampshire’s newest Museum – for FREE! The Royal Logistic Corps Museum, with free entry and free parking, invites you to try and diffuse a bomb in less than 10 seconds…if you’re brave enough! With hands-on activities for children the RLC Museum makes a fantastic family day out. 

Departing from Northney Marina, take a trip along the magnificent natural harbour with Hayling Boat Trips, you may even get to see the majestic seals sunbathing on the mud banks in the shallows
