Following the 4 year touring success of Golem, this year 1927 are reviving and touring its international hit show The Animals and Children took to the Streets. Seamlessly synchronizing live music, performance and storytelling with stunning films and animation, this wickedly twisted show comes to Nuffield Southampton Theatres Campus for Halloween, running 30 Oct – 3 Nov.

Director and writer Suzanne Andrade says the company have “created a charming, creepy and otherworldly little show that feels like a graphic novel burst in to life. The characters are original and sympathetic, the environment is utterly absorbing, and the animated cockroaches are truly spellbinding!

1927, the company behind the multi-award winning show Golem, which visited Southampton in 2017, are best known for their inimitable blend of hand crafted animation with pitch perfect, twisted storytelling, live action and music. Their other critically acclaimed multi-award winning hit shows include Between the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea and The Magic Flute. 1927 has achieved critical success, many coveted awards and international acclaim.
