About Staunton Farm

With a rare breeds farm, the south coast’s largest ornamental glasshouses, beautiful gardens and 1,000 acres of country park to explore there’s something for everyone to see and enjoy at Staunton Farm. Children can feed the farm animals and join in our fun animal encounter sessions, then let off steam in George’s play barn, which includes a soft play toddler zone.

Relax in the beautiful walled gardens, take in the sights, sounds and smells of the sensory garden or enjoy a stroll in the beautifully landscaped parkland. See the fantastic brand new outdoor play area with its fully accessible play equipment. Set sail to China on Sir George Staunton’s punt boat and discover spinning tea cups, a large climbing frame with its Chinese inspired rooftops, accessible swings and much more! Why should I visit?

The Farm – Come and meet a farm full of friendly animals, both old favourites and new arrivals. Get close to and find out more about the animals at the popular Animal Encounter sessions.

The Gardens – This formal garden has been restored to its former Victorian splendor. Beautiful colours, floral displays and fragrances greet you as you enter the walled garden. Vegetables, herbs and fruit, which are planted within the Garden can also be found on sale in the Farm Shop.

The Golden Jubilee Maze – Great for families and children, planted in 2002, the Golden Jubilee Maze creates fun and adventure, with twists and turns, open and locked gates in an attempt to reach the middle. See if you can make it, but don’t forget once you’ve made it to the middle, can you remember the way out.

The Glasshouse – Venture into the tropics of the Victorian Glasshouse, the largest on the South Coast, and be amazed by exotic species on display.

The Country Park – Let the kids loose in 1000 acres of landscaped parkland for free.
