About Sky Park Farm

Sky Park Farm is a visitor attraction on a working deer farm open to the public in the beautiful South Downs village of West Harting near Petersfield. The local heritage of 800 years ago deer farming (reflected in the village name Hart – male deer), has been revived by this family-run farm.

Activities and Experiences

Visitors can experience hands-on feeding with Red, Sika, Axis and Fallow deer, explore the children’s themed trails along the races (paths) through 70 acres of farmland and enjoy the idyllic picnic spots by the Dew Pond and River Rother.

The Adventure Playground has a dedicated under 5s area up to 15 years with hilltop forte, treetop walkways, slides, swings, climbing frames, sand pit and water station, all overlooking the paddocks with curious Sika deer. A handy kiosk with hand-wash station by the adventure playground provides food that can be purchased for both the visitors and the deer!

There’re many opportunities to join in with additional workshops and events, particularly during the school holidays. Outdoors and educational themed Ranger Schools introduce 5–14-year-olds to being a ranger for the day with bushcraft activities. Schools and private groups can also book in their own curriculum-based tours.

Monster & Elf Schools during October and December provide entertainment with crafts from age 4 to preteens. Annual family & friends’ events such as Sky Fest in August and Christmas Light switch-on in November and Rudolph’s Grotto in December are popular dates to look for. Additionally, crafts, science, magic workshops, animal encounters, and toddler activities run regularly. Adults can join in too by booking insightful Ranger Walk & Talk and VIP buggy tours on enquiry. Visit www.skyparkfarm.com and sign-up to their newsletter to see when the events are on and book.
