Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is one of the UK’s leading professional theatre companies. Open all year round, this friendly theatre offers bold, innovative and exciting drama, children’s theatre and comedy.

In February 2018, NST will open Southampton’s new city centre performing arts venue, NST City, with the world premiere of Howard Brenton’s The Shadow Factory. This new venue will include a flexible 450 seat main house theatre, a 133 seat studio, screening facilities, rehearsal and workshop spaces.  This will transform NST’s ability to show new, high quality professional work from local, national and international artists, and extend its programme to include dance, film and music.

Its spring 2018 programme features new and exciting stage adaptations of popular children’s storybooks along with familiar family favourites throughout the season and over the summer holidays, including hugely imaginative and entertaining stage adaption of Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine, a brand new musical adaptation of David Walliams’ bestselling book Billionaire Boy and a studio children’s theatre season for under 5s.  NST will run NST City alongside its existing theatre, NST Campus, on the University of Southampton’s Highfield Campus.

10:00 – 18:00 (box office). Please check website for up to date opening and closing times.
