January 8, 2019

Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ (NST) new season of theatre for young children starts this weekend, with exciting and original theatre across two venues: Nuffield Southampton Theatres Campus (NST Campus) and in the Studio Theatre at Nuffield Southampton Theatres City (NST City).

The Pied Piper Theatre Company presents The Big ENORMOUS Present, a delightfully engaging show for little ones, running from 12 -13 Jan. The show explores the pressures of fitting in and making friends, of finding happiness and how giving can feel as good as receiving.

On 2 – 3 March, Theatre of Widdershins presents Snow White, Rose Red, Bear Brown, a new and enchanting show using puppets, storytelling, original music set in a fantastical fairy-tale forest.

This season also includes If All The World Were Paper from Big Window and AJTC, a poignant story about falling out, making up and the joy of true friendship and Garlic Theatre’s brand new adaptation of a timeless story; 3 Little Pig Tails is set in Paris with the grumpy old wolf as a chef who wants some pigs’ tails for his soup.

Cbeebies favourite Patrick Lynch brings Tom Thumb to life 30 – 31 March, performed entirely on and under a kitchen table in a playful and fascinating show full of magic with feathery spinning birds, a flying house and a portable forest.

All tickets cost £7 and are available from the Box Office 023 8067 1771 or online at nstheatres.co.uk.
