What dates is Mottisfont open?
Also known as Mottisfont Abbey, this attraction is open for the majority of the year with the whole property closed on the 24th and 25th December. The Gallery is also closed during exhibitions, so it’s worth checking with the attraction first to ensure it’s open if that’s the main reason you want to visit.
Mottisfont House, Art Gallery and Estate opening times
Depending on which attraction you want to visit, the opening times for Mottisfont House, Art Gallery and Estate vary throughout the year.
During the Spring, Summer, and Autumn seasons the House, Gallery and Garden are typically open from 10am – 5pm. So, no matter which attraction you’d like to visit you can take your pick.
In the Winter, timings are a little different. Whilst the Gardens are still open from 10am, the House and Gallery open at 11am. All attractions also close a little earlier than during other seasons, with a 4pm close.
Last entry to attractions is 30 minutes before closing.
Does Mottisfont have late opening?
Visiting in the Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons will grant you an extra hour at the attractions, compared to the Winter but what about late openings? Whilst most events are within the standard hours, during the rose season the garden is open later than usual.
