About This Attraction
Mayflower Theatre is the largest theatre on the South Coast with over 2,200 seats in their auditorium. They are an independent charitable trust who aim to bring a diverse range of shows to Southampton by presenting a mixture of spectacular touring productions, from musicals – many direct from the West End – to dance, opera, drama, ballet and comedy.
They also run many workshops and events for young people and families as part of their educational activities.
The theatre is run as a charitable trust and does not receive any funding from any external bodies, so all the money generated from tickets sales goes straight back into keeping the theatre alive and to funding creative opportunities for young people in Southampton. A visit to the county would not be complete without visiting one of the most-talked-about attractions in Hampshire.

Our in-person box office is only at MAST (142 – 144 Above Bar Street, Southampton, SO14 7DU) and is open from 10.00am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Friday, and from 12.00pm to 5.30pm on Saturday. If there is a performance, it is open until the show starts. The box office is open on a Sunday or Monday only when there is a performance on. It opens one hour before the show starts.
