Celebrate 20 Years of Winchester Science Centre wow moments with some of its best shows and demos – all with a retro 2002 twist. First up chemical reactions. From 22 January to 13 March join the Science Chefs. Explore the chemistry of snacks with fire-filled demos including an old favourite, the sugar flame thrower.

The Army Flying Museum is teaming up with REME Museum to bring you two evenings of talks discussing how REME have helped to keep the Army’s aircraft flying, from Auster to Apache. Part 1 of the two talks will be broadcast online on Monday 31 January.

Soar into space at Theatre Royal Winchester with an exciting adaptation of The Smeds and The Smoos on 22nd and 23rd January, the award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.  Music, laughs and interplanetary adventures for everyone aged 3 and up!

From 11th – 16th January, enter a world of magic and fantasy as Disney’s classic movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks makes its world premiere as an exciting new stage musical. The three Rawlins have no idea what adventures lie ahead… Family tickets available for performances Tuesday-Thursday! This magical new musical flies into Mayflower Theatre in January! It’s time to start believing.

Whitchurch Silk Mill’s Winter Light’s spectacular will return in a blaze of glory from 28th January to 6th February to this historic Mill in the heart of rural Hampshire. This time an illuminated walk through the Mill’s past will weave itself through the Mill and gardens. Light and audio installations will delight visitors with the Mill’s living weaving heritage in ways like never before.
