About This Attraction

The Hawk Conservancy Trust is a full day out for all the family. Get the children outside and immersed in nature. You will witness some of the most spectacular flying displays in the UK, as well as having the opportunity to meet an owl! Children can blow off some steam as they explore the park and bird of prey themed playground, and young adventurers can have a go at the children’s activity trail. These are just some of the activities that make up the Hawk Conservancy Trust’s full timetable of daily activities.

‘Meet the Burrowers’ in the fascinating and immersive aviary where you can come face to face with the Trust’s team of cute and curious Burrowing Owls or even book on to a VIP Encounter to meet them yourself!

Don’t miss the ‘Wings of Africa’ display. See Northern Bald Ibis and Storks fly elegantly alongside owls, vultures and kites; experience the Savannah with the dramatic impact of a bushfire and African rainstorm.

During school holidays they offer additional daily activities to keep you and the children entertained at the Trust, including pond dipping, tractor rides and Ferret races.

    • Children’s activity trail – new trail every year with interactive activities for the whole family!
    • Extra activities held at weekends and during school holidays – discover an underwater world in our pond-dipping sessions, take a terrific tractor ride and cheer on a ferret in our famous frenzied ferret race.
    • Take a sneaky peek through the window of our hospital which can treat up to 200 sick, injured or orphaned raptors each year, and learn about our rehabilitation work.
