Set within 22 acres of stunning countryside, the Hawk Conservancy Trust is an award-winning visitor attraction which offers a full day out for all ages. Arrive early and be sure to see our world-class flying displays throughout the day, and many other activities in between.

There are over 150 birds of prey on view and every visitor can meet a British bird of prey and there are extra activities during weekends and school holidays for younger visitors; including tractor rides, ferret racing and pond dipping.

The little ones can let off steam in the adventure play area or by dashing around the grounds to hunt for the raptor stamps for the Raptor Passport, with the ultimate aim of winning a treat.

There is a bird of prey hospital that treats approximately 200 birds of prey each year; hides to view wild birds in the wildflower meadow; a twice daily wild bird feed; and a Vulture Restaurant and keeper’s talk.

Bring the family to the Hawk Conservancy Trust for a day in the country; to have fun, to learn, to be inspired and to be amazed. The site is fully accessible with Feathers Restaurant and the Trust Shop onsite.

Why should I visit?

    • Experience the thrill of seeing an eagle soar majestically in the open sky or an owl skimming silently over the top of your head in the three daily world-class flying displays.
    • Children’s Raptor Passport Trail, Quiz and Shape Spotting - A fun trail around the park to find raptor stamps, quiz clues and seek out bird shapes. Complete the trail and receive a tasty treat.
    • Extra activities held at weekends and during school holidays - discover an underwater world in our pond-dipping sessions, take a terrific tractor ride and cheer on a ferret in our famous frenzied ferret race.
    • Take a sneaky peak through the window of our hospital which can treat up to 200 sick, injured or orphaned raptors each year, and learn about our rehabilitation work.
