The D-Day Story this October half term has been inspired by the recent release of the film ‘Pressure’.

Did you know that one of the most important weather forecasts in history was made my Group Captain James Stagg for D-Day?

Come and discover how clouds, rain and wind are created with our practical activities and demonstrations. Or why not come and get creative with our weather inspired craft activities?

You can also explore our handling collections and try on our replica Second World War uniforms. With toys and games for under 5s there is something for all the family.

In the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and with the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, Pressure follows General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser) and Group Captain James Stagg (Andrew Scott) as they face an impossible choice — launch the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.

The film Pressure is in cinemas now.
