A Victorian storyteller will entertain families with eerie ghost stories at Fort Nelson this half term – the perfect spooky day out for all the family.

The costumed storyteller will roam the underground tunnel and secret chambers recalling tales of the Fort’s best-forgotten history daily from October 25 – 29.

Little monsters are also being challenged to take on a free spooky Halloween trail during this October half term.

Ten ghoulish ghosts and creepy creatures have been hidden around the museum. This fun activity will help families explore the whole site on their school holiday visit.

Fort Nelson is home to the Royal Armouries’ national collection of artillery and historic cannon and the museum galleries will be open for visitors to see 700 treasures spanning 600 years of history.

Families can also enjoy the Victorian fort’s spacious outdoors areas with a walk around our ramparts taking in the spectacular views before rounding off your adventure with a visit to the café to enjoy our Halloween menu.
