Pinocchio – Outdoor Theatre at Fort Nelson

Theatre-lovers can enjoy an outdoor production of Pinocchio at Fort Nelson this summer.

Illyria Theatre will perform the play on Saturday 13 June on the Parade Ground of the Victorian Fort.

Pinocchio tells the classic story of the childless toymaker Geppetto who makes a wooden puppet but as the plot unravels, the adventurous Pinocchio is forced to learn the difference between making right and wrong choices.

The classic book written by Carlo Collodi is the third most translated book in the world, appearing in 260 languages since it was published in 1883.

Tickets for the outdoor show are on sale now at www.royalarmouries.org costing £19.50 for adults and £10.84 for children, plus booking fees.

The performance starts at 6pm and runs for 95 minutes. Theatre-goers will need to bring their own seating.
