Small or stately, private or public. Gardens can be a calm oasis, a playground for children and pets, or a place to cultivate trees, flowers and vegetables.  As writers, how do we recreate these green spaces in a realistic and engaging way in prose or poetry, fiction or creative non-fiction? A garden can be intensely personal or something to share with others, somewhere to unwind, or a place to be productive. Whatever a garden means to you – or your fictional characters – do join us for this workshop that considers how to capture horticultural spaces in writing. No writing experience necessary. Just bring a notebook and pen. Hosted over Zoom by Claire Thurlow.
