Join us for a monthly relaxed social session of military miniature modelling and refreshments, free for all current and former military personnel and emergency service workers and their families.
Whether you’re trying a new hobby or you’re a seasoned modeller, our monthly miniature modelling and painting sessions—supported by the charity Models for Heroes—offer a welcoming, social space to unwind and connect. All kits, materials, and refreshments are provided free of charge, along with free entry to the Museum.
There’s no need to book: simply drop in and take part whenever you like.
Other visitors to the Museum are welcome to drop by, observe and ask questions about the hobby.
Models for Heroes (M4H) is the first charitable organisation in the UK dedicated to supporting current and former Armed Forces and Emergency Service personnel through model making. Founded by keen hobbyist Malcolm Childs, M4H was inspired by the positive, restorative effects of hands-on, social hobbies and was created to make this support widely accessible.
