Little People, BIG DREAMS® exhibition and trail

Mottisfont

Date: 23rd Jul 2022 - 4th Sep 2022
Time: 10am-5pm
Price: Range from Normal property admission applies, £2 per trail.

A new exhibition and activity trail celebrating some of the world’s most outstanding people, using artworks from the bestselling picture-book biography series.

The four rooms of Mottisfont’s gallery are each dedicated to a different personality, with interactive elements alongside artworks. Meet Malala Yousafzai and Martin Luther King Jr., step into the studio of Frida Kahlo, and discover the natural world with David Attenborough.

Outside, an extensive, inclusive activity trail inspires creativity and courage as you explore the gardens. You’ll meet even more Little People along the way, learn about their lives and learn about yourself at the same time.

Discover pioneering scientists and naturalists such as Ada Lovelace and Charles Darwin with thought-provoking and creative challenges. Mottisfont’s ‘Olympic Arena’ gives you a chance to take part in sporting activities, inspired by records set by Jesse Owens, Michael Jordan and Megan Rapinoe. A star-studded outdoor gallery in the beech circle introduces iconic musicians, while elsewhere you can draw on the dreams of writers such as Jane Austen to create your own stories. You can take to Mottisfont’s own ‘speaker’s corner’ and find your own cause to fight for, following in the footsteps of Emmeline Pankhurst, Rosa Parks and Greta Thunberg.
