The Overlord Embroidery, commissioned by Lord Dulverton in 1968, was directly inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. As part of Heritage Open Days we are offering free introductory tours of the Overlord Embroidery which will highlight the connections and contrasts between these historic and monumental artworks created 900 years apart.
