In this anniversary year celebrating 100 years of Portsmouth as a city, we are taking inspiration from the often-unsung roles of the people supporting the Home Front during the Second World War.

Come and discover the stories of the men, women and children who lived, worked or volunteered in Portsmouth and around the country during the Second World War.  Take inspiration from their stories to create paper dolls or puppets and your own puppet theatre to take home.

There will be toys and games for little ones under five, and Second World War uniforms for all the family to try on so we have something for the whole family to enjoy.
