Enjoy an ‘upstairs, downstairs’ experience as you stroll through the House and admire the traditional decorations, exploring how Christmas has been celebrated through the centuries.
You’ll all discover how the Earls of Bessborough celebrated Christmas and learn more about the visit of Queen Elizabeth, wife of King George VI, to Stansted Park in December 1939.
Downstairs in the extensive Servants Quarters, you will explore the servants’ experiences during the festive season, including the origins of Boxing Day.
