Austen Salon: Life & Legacy

Join the Jane Austen’s House team of Obstinate Headstrong Girls for an intimate salon, discussing all things Austen!

On the anniversary of Jane Austen’s death, gather over an elegant repast of tea and cake to celebrate Jane’s extraordinary life, works and legacy. Discuss favourite scenes, characters and moments from Jane Austen’s novels, and lead a discussion on everything from long engagements and Gothic novels to white soup, ugly bonnets and strawberry-picking.

This is a glorious chance to meet like-minded Austen aficionados and to indulge in a delightful discussion of all things Austen!

And as it’s Dress Up Day.. if you come in Regency dress, so much the better!

💐 This event is part of the Dress Up Day weekend at Jane Austen’s House
