Daytime activities are included with standard museum admission.
Visitors can enjoy a range of themed experiences throughout the day, including:
- RAF War Room Experience
Step into a detailed operational setting where key wartime battles are planned on a model inspired by the bunker used by Winston Churchill, recreated with impressive historical accuracy.
- Talk: The Life and Music of Glenn Miller
Delivered by our volunteer Ray, this engaging talk explores the story and musical legacy of one of the era’s most iconic bandleaders.
- 1940s Fashion Display
A display developed by Dr Alex Jones which provides an insightful look at wartime fashion, covering both workwear and leisure styles of the 1940s.
