Easter holiday fun as Rope course ‘Sky Tykes’ opens at Action Stations.

April 28, 2014

Calling all wannabe spider boys and girls! Action Stations at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is pleased to announce a brand new activity area, perfect for keeping the children entertained this Easter.

Sky Tykes is a rope course with little ones in mind, designed specifically for children ranging in age from 2-7 years old. The Sky Tykes course puts agility to the test with rope bridges and balance beams, and has no set route or time limit – you’re limited only by your imagination. Once harnessed up into the safety system children begin their adventure whilst parents walk side-by-side with their children as they explore and overcome the obstacles of the Sky Tykes course. The course has an open and low-to-the-ground design, so that adults can follow, giving them as much (or as little) guidance as needed. Kerrie

Jarvie, Manager at Action Stations said, “Sky Tykes offers younger children the chance to have an experience of their own, which provides fun in a controlled, but active environment. The rope course is a really engaging fitness activity for this age group, and a great way to involve the whole family.” In addition to the activities for individuals and families, Action Stations also hosts birthday parties and youth groups. All activities at Action Stations, with the exception of Laser Quest, are included with a valid ticket to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
