Cyclexperience is an award-winning cycle hire and info hub situated in the heart of the New Forest. Whether you are looking for an adrenaline-packed day of exploration or a relaxing ride through the forest, hiring a bike through Cyclexperience is a great choice.

They offer an extensive fleet, with new models regularly introduced to suit visitors of all ages and heights. The new centre at Brockenhurst Rail Station was built in 2016 and is only 400m from the closest forest trail ensuring your immersive experience starts right away.

Getting around

Finding your way around the New Forest couldn’t be easier as Cyclexperience provide a free GPS map app which you can easily download on your smartphone. This allows guests to follow different New Forest cycle routes discovering vibrant woodlands, impressive sea walls and exciting points of interest along the way.

Things to see and cycle routes

Their New Forest cycle tours allow you to discover the varied landscapes of the New Forest National Park including the villages of Beaulieu, Burley, and Lyndhurst. 

Whether you are a cycling beginner or an expert, there are plenty of routes to suit all abilities. If you have young children, why not choose a shorter route through the Ornamental Woods or a seaside ride along the beautiful coast of Brockenhurst?

For more experienced riders there are a variety of challenging routes such as the 4-5 hour journey travelling through Burley village or the 5-7 hour adventure through Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary and over Bolderford Bridge.

Animals in the New Forest

The New Forest is a stunning, expansive area of open spaces and impressive forests that is home to a variety of different animals and wildlife. Embarking on a Cyclexperience day out, you are sure to spot donkeys, ponies, deer, cattle and many other beautiful creatures.

During your day of fun and exploration you can be sure that no matter which route you choose, there is always a pub or café along your way. After your hard work you deserve a delicious meal to replace your energy and Cyclexperience have taken the time to mark food sites on your map to ensure you have the opportunity to refuel.

Other information for cycling in the New Forest

Prices start from £22.00 per day for an adult’s bike rental, or from £9 per day for a child’s bicycle rental. Latest models Electric Bikes can also be hired from £43 per day. 

Included in the daily hire, along with the bike are safety helmets, a route map, rucksack (with tool-kit), spare tube & pump. You can even hire child or dog trailers to allow every member of your family to share in this magical experience.

The friendly Cyclexperience team are on hand to ensure you have an unforgettable experience exploring. Cyclexperience Hire Centre is also a local information point with free Wi-Fi, chill-out area with refreshments and gifts.
