Of course, the most appealing parts of the park are the many bird exhibits. Why not start with the popular Penguin Beach where guests can watch gracefully gliding and slowly waddling penguins explore their habitats. Visitors can immerse themselves in the Outback Landing, a fascinating walk-through aviary with an Australian theme, where parrots and other small birds fly freely overhead. Other exhibits such as Flamingo Cove, Lorikeet Walk and the Seashore Walk are also not to be missed.
Not all the inhabitants of Birdworld are land based, however. The mysterious Underwater World includes over 30 exhibits allowing guests to travel the world, with African lakes, jungle swamps and Amazonian streams. With such a large variety of underwater habitats there are so many fish to discover. Terrifying piranhas, brightly coloured blue tangs, and even miniature crocodiles will transport visitors to somewhere otherworldly and magical.
Birdworld is located on 26 acres of gardens and landscapes that are begging to be explored. Stunning plants and trees can be found throughout the park with a large number of seating areas allowing guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings. For active visitors there are plenty of intriguing gardens to discover, you can wind your way through the willow maze or for dinosaur fans, go hunting in the lost trail or even search for shiny conkers, crinkly leaves and fallen sticks.
Birdworld Food and Drink
Feeling hungry or thirsty after all the excitement? Located throughout Birdworld are four different food and drink options, catering for all needs. Finally, quick snacks like ice cream or cakes and drinks can be purchased from 2 separate kiosks within the park.
Birdworld Conservation
The Birdworld Conservation Fund supports local and international conservation initiatives and depends on donations by kind-hearted individuals.
