With over 1,200 birds to see, a trip to Birdworld is sure to surprise on every visit. Along with a whole host of colourful birds in all shapes and sizes, there’s a farm, children’s playground and more. Whether you only visit once, or keep coming back throughout the year, we’ve compiled all the Birdworld ticket options below, including how to get the best deals by booking direct.

General admission tickets
With a day ticket you’ll get access to all the exhibits including penguins, parrots, owls, flamingos, threatened species, the farm and more. General admission tickets should be booked in advance via the official website. By booking direct you can easily see any available dates and those that are sold out.
Prices are currently:
- Adult: £19.95
- Child 3-15 years: £15.95
- Concessions: £17.95
- Child under 3: FREE
Tickets are not transferable and are non-refundable.
Discounted tickets are available for over 60’s and students with valid ID. Currently the price of a concession ticket to Birdworld is £17.95, giving you a good saving on the standard price. Carers can also attend for free when accompanying a paying, disabled guest.
Annual member passes for Birdworld
With an annual pass you can visit Birdworld as many times as you like, whenever they’re open over 12 months. You’ll be joining over 2,000 individuals who have annual memberships and you’ll get access to some extra perks including:
- No need to pre book, although you will need to bring proof of membership with you
- Skip the queue on busy days
- 10% discount at the Birdworld Gift Shop
- 10% discount on food sold at the Kiosks and Palm Café (Excludes food sold at Forest Lodge Garden Centre)
If you already have a day ticket and would like to upgrade to an annual pass, you’ll have the cost of your day ticket refunded when purchased on the same day as your visit.
Annual pass prices are:
- Adult: £59.95
- Child: £45.95
- Concession (60+ and students with valid ID): £52.95
Members who are disabled can add a carer to their annual pass free of charge.
For groups of 12 or more, whether they be educational groups, corporate groups, or family gatherings, it’s recommended you fill in the group booking form. You’ll get generous discounts, free coach parking and even access to on-site catering.
Adoption and experience tickets
For the ultimate bird experience, Birdworld has several ways to get up close and personal with their animals, starting from £65 per person. These include:
- Penguin feeding
- Bird keeper experience
- Junior farm keeper
Whilst you can’t take these wonderful creatures home, no matter how much you may want to, you can do the next best thing and adopt a Birdworld animal for a year. There’s an adoption package to suit every budget, starting from only £49.95 for a year which even includes a ticket to the park! You’ll also have your name displayed near the entrance to the park, and a fridge magnet.
