Whether you want to visit the National Motor Museum, Beulieu Abbey, Palace House or other local attractions, you may be wondering about parking in Beaulieu. There are tons of great reasons to visit Beaulieu and below we look at how to find the main car park and some alternate options for parking in the village.
Parking at Beaulieu National Motor Museum
By far the most well known and popular car park in Beaulieu is located just in front of the National Motor Museum. Not only is it convent, it’s also completely free! And, with space for 1,000 cars, it’s an ideal place to park for many of the attractions in Beaulieu. To find the car park, put “SO42 7ZN” into your satnav, or follow signs from junction 2 of the M27.
On event days additional overflow car parks are available as well.
Not only can you access the National Motor Museum from this car park, but you can also walk to Little Beaulieu children’s play area, the World of Top Gear attraction, the Victorian flower garden and more places of interest. One ticket will get you access to countless Beaulieu attractions making it a really cost-effective way to spend a day out in Hampshire.
Disabled parking in Beaulieu
A car park for visitors with blue badges is conveniently located near to Visitor Reception. Beaulieu has accessibility trained staff to help, who can also provide alternate viewing experiences where needed. Their full accessibility page is a great resource, with details on wheelchair hire, bringing guide dogs and more.
Electric car charging in Beaulieu
Driving an electric vehicle to Beaulieu? Then you’ll be pleased to hear there are three electric car charging posts on site. Thanks to funding from the Sustainable Transport Solutions Fund these posts are free to use. Several 7-pin and one 13amp 3 pin connections are available and more details can be found here.
Parking at Palace House
Palace House is located near to the National Motor Museum and although there’s no parking next to Palace House, the main Beaulieu car park is conveniently located. This means you’ll benefit from the free parking and can use your attraction ticket to see Palace House as well as the many other attractions in the same area.
You can even get the motorail from the main entrance to a monorail station directly in front of Palace House. Perfect for guests with mobility issues or if you want an amazing view of the other attractions.
Parking at Beaulieu Abbey
As with Palace House, you can access Beaulieu Abbey from the main car park. This means you’ll also get to enjoy free parking if you’re planning on visiting this attraction. You can then either walk to the Abbey past our Victorian flower garden or take the monorail to arrive there in record time.
Parking in Beaulieu village
Wondering about parking directly in Beaulieu village? Then you have a couple of options, although bear in mind, spaces tend to fill up fast. Fairweathers Garden Centre has parking for visitors and Beaulieu Village Car Park is also available, although they do charge for parking.
