Be part of the festival fun as a volunteer at this year’s Hat Fair

May 6, 2021

Hat Fair – the UK’s longest-running Outdoor Arts Festival – is looking for volunteers to help ensure this year’s festival runs smoothly and keep audiences smiling.

The festival is set to take place from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 July 2021.  Due to the ongoing pandemic, the annual event will take a different format this year with all three days taking place at North Walls Recreation Ground, close to Winchester city centre, and the festival will be ticketed.  This will allow festival organisers to limit the capacity in order to provide a Covid safe and secure event for audiences, staff, volunteers, and artists alike.

Play to the Crowd – the arts and education charity that runs Hat Fair – are looking for volunteers to ensure the festival runs like clockwork – from help setting the event up to looking after performers, scanning tickets to directing audiences.

If you would like to lend a hand at one of the UK’s most vibrant events, all you need to be is aged 18 or over, friendly and responsible. In return you’ll gain valuable festival experience, meet countless impressive performers and have a great time. So whether you’re looking for a unique experience this summer; want to meet new people; or learn some brand-new skills look no further than Hat Fair.

Hat Fair runs from Friday 2 – Sunday 4 July 2021. For more information and to apply, visit www.hatfair.co.uk/info/volunteer or email [email protected]
