#NationalBBQWeek returns for a 22nd time this year from 28th May – 3rd June & it comes just in time for the FIFA World Cup! We all love to be sat outside in the sunshine with family and friends, so use this 2018 National Week as a chance to get your peeps together to enjoy a sizzling summer.

  1. Hit Portsmouth Harbour this year for National BBQ Week and enjoy sensational coastal views whilst sinking into your favourite BBQ treats, showcasing quality local produce at Emirates Spinnaker Tower!
  2. From 26th May – 3rd June, visit Marwell Zoo to explore your favourite animals and enjoy tasty “grab and go” premium burgers and sausage baps from Hampshire sourced beef and pork. Located next to Cafe Graze, it’s easy to find – just follow your nose!
  3. Celebrate the long summer evenings with live music, tasty BBQ food, and some great entertainment over on the Isle of Wight. The family-friendly Summer Shindigs, which feature a wide range of entertainment with a different theme each week, return to Tapnell Farm on Thursday evenings throughout the summer holidays. Expect an array of BBQ food, with an outdoor bar serving a range of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages until the sun goes down.
  4. Make the most of National BBQ Week and enjoy sizzling BBQ food with stunning scenic sea views from Pirate Cove at Blackgang Chine. Tuck into a mouth-watering burger or hot dog, whilst the kids let their imaginations run wild on the pirate ships!
  5. Celebrate National BBQ Week with a unique BBQ Masterclass in Winchester Cathedral’s Refectory Courtyard on 29 May. Learn how to impress your friends and family with the best bastes, marinates and rubs, savour delicious dishes and sample perfectly matched wine in historic surroundings:
  6. Why not book a BBQ site at Royal Victoria Country Park to make your visit extra special? Or if you’d prefer not to do the cooking, their café will be serving a range of BBQ food including a pulled pork burger and bacon BBQ dog!
  7. Explore the ancient woodlands of Robin Hill Country Park and work up an appetite… whether you fancy chips topped with cheese and bacon, butterfly chicken breast or a traditional burger, they have something for everyone! Plus, they have a special chilli burger to celebrate National BBQ Week too!
  8. A round of golf followed by a delicious BBQ – what could be better? This irresistible combination will be on offer at the Ageas Bowl’s stunning 18-hole Boundary Lakes Golf Course every Friday this summer, starting May. Why not come and start your summer in style at Boundary Lakes!
