This elegant house with its stunning formal gardens and views of rolling Hampshire countryside, is full of fine furnishings and works of art.  The gardens are at their best in summer and the rustic tea-room offers delicious home-made cakes and light refreshments.

A tranquil rural estate is the setting for this handsome old house which was once a medieval monastery.  With delightful riverside walks, glorious grounds and a fascinating house to explore, Mottisfont is the perfect location for a family day out.  Mottisfont is also the home of the National Collection of Old-Fashioned Roses which only bloom in June, when they attract visitors from all over the country and beyond.  
From July to September, it's Beatrix Potter Time at Mottisfont with an exhibition of the much-loved author's original drawings and paintings, and a recreation of Mr McGregor's garden in the grounds.

A richly historic house, The Vyne was originally built as a great Tudor power-house and was visited by King Henry VIII on at least three occasion.  With delightful gardens, lakeside walks and wetlands with a bird hide, The Vyne is set in the midst of a varied and peaceful estate.  The house is full of rare treasures with interior fads and fashions from four centuries of continuous family ownership.
In June and July don't miss Bling Meets Baroque at The Vyne when the house will be adorned with stunning items of contemporary furniture created by renowned artist and designer Mark Brazier-Jones, whose clients include rock stars and royalty.

A rare survival of an urban working corn mill, powered by the fast-flowing River Itchen, which can be seen at close-quarters as it races beneath the Mill.  With hands-on activities for families and audio-visual displays about milling and the rich wildlife in the area, the Mill is a lively and inspiring place for visitors of all ages.  Don't miss the CCTV footage of the Mill's very own family of otters!
