Follow the trail to Beaulieu for an Easter Eggstravaganza PDF Print E-mail

During the Easter holidays young visitors to Beaulieu can join in a Hare-Brained Easter Trail. Look for the hares, find the answers to the clues a collect a sweet treat at the end of the trail.

Opening for Easter – the National Motor Museum’s latest exhibition, ‘The Art of Custom’, sponsored by Autoglym, takes cars and bikes on a creative journey from ordinary to extraordinary, to produce a unique one-off concept design.  This striking display features vehicles from humble beginnings that you’ll not easily recognise once transformed into these works of art.

See the latest additions to the James Bond Experience featuring genuine cars from the films including the Aston Martin Volante from The Living Daylights and the Lotus Submarine car from The Spy Who Loved Me.  In addition there is a selection of magnificent memorabilia including Jaws’ Shirt from The Spy Who Loved Me, Oddjob’s Bowler Hat as seen in Goldfinger and the Vulcan Bomber model from Thunderball.

There’s lots more for all the family at Beaulieu this Easter from rides on the high-level Monorail and replica open-topped London Bus, to ‘Wheels’, a pod ride, taking you on a journey through 100 years of motoring.  Budding drivers can get behind the wheel on the Mini Car Driving Circuit and younger visitors can get physical on Dipstick’s Mini Motor Play Trail with its Veteran Bus climbing frame, swings and Little Tykes ride-on-cars.

On the 9th and 16th April, in Palace House, costume historian Tanya Elliot will be displaying a recreation of an 18th century dress and be on hand to tell visitors how it was researched and made.

Admission prices are adult £15.50, Seniors £14.50, Child (5-12) £8.25 and youth (13-17) £9.25.  A good value family ticket for 2 adults plus 3 children is £42.25. Opening hours are from 10am to 5pm every day so hop along to Beaulieu for some Easter fun.
