Manor Farm Visitor Attraction

A whole host of friendly farmyard animals and colourful costumed characters are waiting to meet you at our interactive historical farm. Get hands on and have a go at milking a cow, feeding chickens, holding a newborn rabbit or bottle-feeding a baby lamb. Take a step back in time for a lesson to remember in the Victorian classroom and lend a helping hand with cooking and washing in the farmhouse. Explore the farmyard, rickyard, blacksmiths forge and 13th century church to discover what life was really like over 100 years ago. After all that fun why not take some time out and relax in the tearooms, which provides a tasty variety of hot and cold food and drinks.

Country Park

Explore 400 acres of magnificent parkland along the banks of the River Hamble, the perfect place for a fun family day out. Children will love the new play trail at Barnfield, fishing for crabs off the jetty and letting off steam in the wide open fields. Discover the ancient woodlands or take a stroll along the beautiful shoreline of the river.

Relax in one of our picnic areas or book a BBQ site to enjoy lunch in the great outdoors. Visit the park through the changing seasons and see the magnificent displays of autumn leaves or carpets of beautiful spring bluebells, and find out more about the creatures lurking in the woods on one of our many exciting ranger-led activities.
